According to a new exclusive report from Android Headlines, the Pixel 10 will support Qi2 wireless charging. The publication has also confirmed that Google is making its own Qi2 accessories under a new name: Pixelsnap.

If this sounds familiar, it is because Android Authority reported something similar last week. This new report corroborates those claims and sheds some light on additional details. According to the post, we can look forward to three main products at launch: a basic Qi2 charger, a stand version, and a magnetic ring stand. All of these will be sold on the Google Store and probably at major retailers too. There’ll also be third-party Qi2 gear from Google’s “Made for Google” partners like Belkin, Bellroy, and Spigen.

The charger looks a lot like Apple’s MagSafe puck. The stand? Think Pixel Stand 2, but updated—it has a slot to dock the new Qi2 puck. That makes sense since Google stopped selling the old one a while ago. That charger debuted in 2021. It’s overdue for retirement.

One thing to note: the Qi2 charging magnets won’t be built into the Pixel 10. If you want proper alignment, you’ll need a compatible case. Google’s official cases will have the magnets built in. It’s the same move Samsung pulled with the Galaxy S25. OnePlus, too, sort of.

There’s also a new dual-port USB-C charger coming. It’ll sit alongside the current 45W single-port version, which goes for $29.99. The new one likely combines one 45W port with a lower-power one, probably for a Pixel Watch or buds. Just don’t expect the Pixel 10 to charge any faster—Google’s been conservative on that front.

Pricing is still under wraps, but we’re expecting the full lineup to drop at Google’s August 20 event, with Pixel 10 hitting stores August 28.
